SP 175 - You want to do everything in your own name and for your name's sake. You are slaves of yourselves - this is what Saint Paul (Rom 6:16) calls your carnality. And he is not talking about the body, but about the enslavement of the spirit, which is therefore so blind, so deaf, that it does not see the Truth and does not accept the Good. He lies to himself and accepts evil.
