SP 305 - There are two most important activities in the interior life of your soul: discerning inspirations and examining your conscience. Whether you follow My voice and will in your daily thoughts and actions depends on discerning inspirations. Therefore, you must listen to My voice in silence and trust and look for love and peace in what appears in your heart and mind. And then examine the fruits, gazing together with Me into your heart. In My gaze you will recognize the truth about what you have done in your heart and towards people outside.
And then lay it all at My feet with love, contrition and thanksgiving, so that I may accept, repair, and sanctify it. Let your confession before Me be yours in your soul, so that nothing remains in the shadow of your independence and distance from My light. And do not spare time for this, because the meaning and value of your actions towards people and yourself depend on it. The fulfillment of God's plans in you depends on this - your holiness on earth and in Heaven.

SSD 686 - Alice: Despite external peace - my life is constantly dramatic - and especially prayers: prayer of offering, sometimes conversations with You, JESUS.
JESUS: Internal life is intense - often much more than physical and mental life. Everything takes place there. The more in Me, the more intensely.
After all, My life was a drama that lasts and in which My children are included and united with Me. And although everything is wrapped in My Love and My peace, a drama is played out at the interface between Good and evil.
As long as you are on earth, you will come into contact with evil and it will hurt you.
But I compensate for all your pain and hold you in My arms.

Alice: Your hands are also injured and blood flows from them. And from your heart too.
JESUS: When My children are with Me and give Me their love, I feel no pain, only joy and the Sacrifice becomes a joy.

SSD 713 - ... Alice: Time flies, and someone who could do much is motionless...
JESUS: I am the Lord of time. And external motionlessness is necessary for an intense internal life - for its enrichment.
Did I not go to the desert to prepare myself to begin the Work of Salvation?
