SDD 203 - Alice: Everything in me is twisting and dying from longing for You, Lord, and You are unattainable, although so close... What is happening to me?
JESUS: You must go through this fire of longing. This is the path to union with Me. I am. But everything that connects you with the world must burn out in you. Persevere and trust. I am with you.
Alice: Where do such feelings and sensations come from in me: love, desire and pain?
JESUS: My closeness gives birth to them and My Love that touches you.
SDD 653 - Alice: Separation from You causes me great pain... I know that You are here. You are everywhere. In me too. And I cannot get close to You, touch You, cling to You.
I am sore, although the joy of hope is in this.
JESUS: You know what My path to meeting the Father looked like. Do you think that yours can be different, My bride?
Do you know how everything in Me was sore, how it bled, before the Sacrifice came? Before I - GOD abandoned my earthly body to unite myself with the Father?
Shouldn't the bride be where the Bridegroom is?
Just as My Sacrifice is constantly being performed on the altars of the world, so yours is being performed in your soul - until its last moment and the glory of joy of uniting with Me come.
Alice: I am beginning to feel more and more clearly the enormity of the pain of separation, and in it these external sufferings and sacrifices become less and less noticeable.
The pain of separation is the greatest pain and it is worth paying with every suffering that the world and your own body inflicts for relief from this pain.
Everything is smaller than it, and only Your love is just as great.
O Christ, do You allow me to touch hell and heaven alternately?
JESUS: You experience the Truth. And the Truth is this.
