Your respite from hardships and external activity does not need time, only Me. Not time for yourself, only time for Me, and such time is always there. You will always find rest in My Heart when you immerse yourself in it. Then I will give rest and strength and joy to your body and your soul.

SP 156 - In pain, the holiness of man is born and in pain, the soul for heaven is born. That is why the battle takes place in the heart - the last fundamental battle for your life in GOD. My child, you must give birth to your soul for heaven yourself. No one will do it for you. This is a great privilege that gives you the right to sonship and the inheritance of God. No other creatures except man have received this either in heaven or on earth.
Each soul has its own mystery of communion with Me, inaccessible to others both on earth and in heaven.

There is no return. You will pass and leave all this. It will disappear in the trembling of the heart at My touch. Your only pilgrimage to the Holy Land in your soul has begun and continues: the Mystery of the Encounter.

SP 299 - A person living as a hermit - in Me - becomes the conscience of the world. In his soul, Satan fights for the salvation of My people. In the soul of the offering, there is a fight for the souls of those for whom it has offered itself.
The fate of the world depends on priests and religious souls. Not on their external actions, but on the victory in their own souls in the fight that Satan wages for the people for whom I have called them.

SP 344 - Alice: The Lord showed me that as a result of original sin, the soul of man has an open gate towards hell. On the threshold of this gate sits Satan, guarding this soul, and often he also has others to help him, as it were, specialized in various types of temptation, according to the situation and weakness of the person. They try to enter the interior of the soul. They sneak stealthily and the first one who succeeds, pulls the others after him. When larger and larger areas of the soul are taken over by these dark figures, the main, greatest Satan enters after them, who establishes his kingdom there and spreads himself throughout the soul.
If a person lives in sanctifying grace, the soul is filled with the light of the Lord and Satan cannot enter the interior, although he vigilantly guards the entrance and often tries to reach there. However, he withdraws because the light of the Lord strikes him. The more fervent a person is in his faith, the stronger the light, and Satan is more crouched and as if paralyzed by this glow shining from the interior of the soul. Those souls who commune with the Lord in their interior in spousal love are completely illuminated, as if transparent, and a brightness emanates from them, from which Satans must flee a great distance, because it burns them and causes them pain - they become blind and shrink within themselves.
Undertaking actions or entering situations similar to sinful ones, putting a person to the test ( often due to self-confidence) are as if opening a second gate towards Satan. When the inner light of the Lord is not sufficiently fanned and kindled by the soul, the devils have a chance to creep inside, somehow taking on the protective color of the surroundings, that is, taking on the appearance of goodness.

And everything that is permitted by GOD in the life of man is felt above all by JESUS. Especially spiritual sufferings, which are given for conversion, are the suffering of the Lord JESUS. Suffering greater and even anticipating what a human being can feel, because His sensitivity is greater and richer.

SP 383 - Come to Me hidden in your soul and remain in Me, because only here will you find solace in your heart. Only here will your longing find satisfaction. There is no life for you outside of Me. There is nothing in the world that could satisfy your hunger for love.

This is how it is with Me in heaven. But heaven is also here - in your soul, if you enter there whole and unite with Me, because I am in it.
This is what complete surrender looks like. What is external has no significance then.
Suffering makes it easier to enter the soul. Helping others too.

ŚDD 284 - ... Being in Me all the time, you are at the same time at home. We live together in the house of your soul. And this house is huge - you get to know its new spaces and finally you are convinced that it is My home. This is unification - when there is no division between yours and Mine.

Therefore, it is necessary to constantly perfect the spiritual life and take care to maintain the fitness of the body in order to fulfill the tasks of Love.
