SSD 343: If you take on the suffering of others, praying for them, then you have their sadness in you, because you take it on. If you want to free someone, you have to be ready for their suffering. This is normal and be prepared for it. Be happy when you receive nothing in return - because then the sacrifice is pure and perfect.
Alice: I lock a lot up inside myself - in my alienation, loneliness and homelessness - not so much at home, but in the world. Is that wrong?
JESUS: This is the correctness of your path - but within the limits of creation. Beyond these limits there is destruction. You cannot cross them. Be attentive and vigilant, with your heart open to Me. Know, however, that the openness of your heart should be greater and greater - in proportion to how your heart grows.

SSD 344: Alice: I don't know what happened. After those visits to the hospital, joy and carefreeness ended.
JESUS: I placed the sufferings of that other woman on you... You carry them in your heart. Change it into joy. The joy of communion with Me. Your joy should be double, because you free it and enrich yourself. You have helped many, although in such an invisible way. That is how it should be. I know your heart and I know. Be hidden in My arms. Let them not see you. Let them only reap the fruits of your sacrifice and your prayer.

SSD 526: Alice: I cannot talk to You today, JESUS, someone's suffering hurts me.
JESUS: Persevere. There is no need for words. Many are praying for him now.
Alice: What can I do?
JESUS: Accept everything with peace in your heart and with hope. I bless you all, I bless him and the Work he is creating.

Alice: Give me, Christ, a share of his suffering - as much as possible.
JESUS: After all, you have it and it is easier for him thanks to it.

JESUS: If you want, you will receive. Be focused and quiet. Trust in My love in him and in you.

JESUS: Evil accepted with love ceases to exist.
SDD 640: ...Suffering is a medicine and that is its meaning. Suffering offered for others is a medicine with multiplied power. It heals the sufferer and the one offering it much more effectively, and it heals other people. Suffering rejected may not only bring nothing, but also multiply evil - especially when someone curses and accuses others - then they wade even further and deeper in their mistakes and sins.
